The fifth tournament in the popular @lantic 7's series for high schools takes place on Saturday, 03 March at SAAS-veld in George. During the past 5 years more than a thousand teams have participated in the @lantic series.
According to Willem Strauss, tournament promoter, the @lantic provincial U/18 7's tournament will take place again this year. "The introduction of the provincial U/18 tournament for 7's has added status to the sport at schools" said Strauss.
Oudtshoorn HS last year's winners will defend their titel against amongst others Tygerberg, the national @lantic 7's champions. Oudtshoorn provided a surprise last year when they eventually went through to the final of the Champions tournament against the same Tygerberg.
What a great tournament, the competition was hard fought, with the U18s showing there stuff out on the pitch! @lantic would like to congradulate the winners of the Cup. Plate and Bowl competitions. There was great rugby on display at the @lantic 7s Provincials Tournament, and we are proud to sponser a tournament where such talented young men can come out to play.

The first match kicks-off on Saturday at 08h30 with the cup final being played at 16h30. The participating schools are: HS Sentraal, HS Kalahari, HS Pescodia, GW Development, HS Duineveld, HTS Kimberley, HS Blinkklip, HS Diamantveld, HS Victoria-Wes, HS Homevale, HS Stilfontein, HS Danielskuil and HS Gariep.
