Die @lantic Uitnodigingspan het al ses hul wedstryde in die Overseas International kompetisie in Dubai gewen.   Die Suid-Afrikaanse skoolseuns het die finaal teen Wooden Spoon Blues, 'n internasionale Uitnodingspan, met 29 - 10 gewen op die "A" veld, voor 30 000 toeskouers en onder luide applous van die groot kontingent Suid-Afrikaanse ondersteuners wat ook later die aand die Springbokke se oorwinning sou vier.
 

Volgens Paul Treu, Springbok 7's afrigter wat die @lantic span se wedstryde bygewoon het, was hy baie beïndruk met die span se vertonings teen senior semi-professionele spelers en is hy van plan om van die @lantic spelers te betrek by die Springbok oefengroep.
 
Die @lantic Uitnodingspan het in sy groepswedstryde afgereken met CSG Old Boys' (Engeland) 61 - 5, Racing Club (Nigerie) 52 - 5, Castaways (Engeland) 28 - 14.  In die kwarteindstryd het die Suid-Afrikaners die Royal Air Force span 42 - 5  oorrompel.  In die semi-finaal het die skoolseuns 'n geweldige fisiese aanslag van Dinamo (Moskou Universiteit) oorleef om 15 - 5 te wen.
 
Spoedvraat Jacques Erasmus was die span se voorste driedrukker.  Ander uitblinkers was Tiaan Dorfling, Branco du Preez, Enrico Acker, Hoffmann Maritz en Piet Lindeque.
 
 
@lantic Wins in Dubai
 
The @lantic Invitation team won all six their matches in the Overseas International competition in Dubai.  The South African schoolboys won the final against Wooden Spoon Blues, an international invitation team, by 29 - 10 on the "A" field in front of 30 000 spectators and to tumultous applause by the large contingent of South African supporters, who would later the same evening celebrate the Springboks win.
 
According to Paul Treu, the Springbok 7's coach who attended the @lantic team's matches, he was very impressed with the team's performance against senior semi-professional players and intends drafting some of the @lantic players into the Springbok squad in the near future.
 
In their group matches the @lantic Invitation team beat CSG Old Boys' (England) 61 - 5, Racing Club (Nigeria) 52 - 5, Castaways (England) 28 - 14.  In the quarter finals the South Africans overran the Royal Air Force team 42 - 5.  In the semi-final, the schoolboys survived an incredibly physical encounter against Dinamo (Moscow University) to beat them 15 - 5.
 
Speed king Jacques Erasmus was the team's leading try-scorer.  Other team members to excel were Tiaan Dorfling, Branco du Preez, Enrico Acker, Hoffmann Maritz and Piet Lindeque.
