The fifth tournament of the @lantic 7's series moves to Paarl Gymnasium in Stellenbosch this Saturday.  Saturday's first match kicks-off at 08:00 with the Cup final being played at 14:00. 
During the recent tournament at Waterkloof HS in Pretoria, Merensky HS beat HS Waterkloof 19 - 14 in the cup final.  Inka Shirekk from Merensky HS was named player of the tournament. Pierre Lombard and Morne van den Berg from Waterkloof were also identified to form part of the @lantic 7's squad from which a team will be selected to participate in an international tournament in Windhoek at the end of September.

Gerhard van den Heever who made a satisfactory debut for the Bulls during last Saturday's Super 14 match, was selected as player of the tournament during the first @lantic tournament two years ago.  According to sport promotor, Willem Strauss, van den Heever's exposure to 7's rugby contributed to his meteoric rise.
The participating teams this Saturday are: Paarl Gym, Paulus Joubert, DF Malan, Tygerberg, Paul Roos, Schoonspruit, Scottsdene, Excelsior, Bergrivier, Brackenfell, HJS and Klein Nederburg.
