The 2010 @lantic Sevens series kicks-off with the first tournament on January 30 at the new 45 000 seater Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Sport promoter Willem Strauss confirmed that this tournament will form part of the program for the Super 14 warm-up match between the Bulls and Lions which will take place after the cup final of the @lantic competition.
According to Strauss, who is also the promoter of the Super 14 warm-up match, the day's proceedings are a trial run for the local structures in preparation for the World Cup matches to be hosted at the stadium later in the year.
More than 300 schools participated in last year's series with Hoerskool Monument from Krugersdorp as the eventual the champions.
"We feel privileged that the @lantic competition can contribute towards soccer's preparation for the World Cup in the Limpopo Province" said Strauss.
The first tournaments of the 2010 are:
