The thirteenth tournament in this year's @lantic series takes place on Saturday at HS Waterkloof in Pretoria. According to Willem Strauss, tournament promoter, the quality of this year's series is of an unbelievably high standard. "7's rugby is going from strength to strength and with the SA U/18 team participating in international tournaments like the Youth Commonwealth Games and the Youth Olympic Games in the future, the status of the sport is growing" said Strauss.

During the last tournament at HS Kempton Park, HS Brandwag from Benoni beat HS Centurion 22 - 19 in the Cup Final. In one of the best matches of the day Waterkloof beat Monument after the hooter for the end of the match had sounded. Jaco Viljoen of HS Monument was named player of the tournament. Viljoen represented the Lions at centre during this year's Craven week. The winners of the other finals were:

Shield final - HS Alberton vs HS Die Wilgers 19 - 7
Bowl final - HTS Middelburg vs HS Jeugland 14 - 7
Plate final - HS Waterkloof vs Transvalia 19 - 14

The matches kick-off on Saturday at 08:30 with the Cup final being played at 16:30.

The participating teams on Saturday are: HS Waterkloof, HS Patriot, HS Oosterland, Overkruin, HS Merensky, HS Wonderboom, HS Die Wilgers, HTS Middelburg, Potch Gim, HS Kempton Park, HS Monument, HS Centurion and HS Montana.
