The popular @lantic 7's series for high schools takes place on Friday 21 October and Saturday, 22 October at HS Monument in Krugersdorp. During the past 5 years more than a thousand teams have participated in the @lantic series.

According to Willem Strauss, tournament promoter, the @lantic provincial U/18 7's tournament will take place again this year. "The introduction of the provincial U/18 tournament for 7's and the selection of the SA Schools team has added status to the sport at schools" said Strauss.

The first match kicks-off on Friday at 16h20 and Saturday at 08h30 with the cup final being played on Saturday at 16h10. The participating schools are: HS Pionier, Vryheid Landbou, Vryheid, HS Voortrekker (Bethlehem), Pongola, Sarel Cilliers, Newcastle High, Ferrum, Dundee, HS Voortrekker (Pmb), Crawford College (La Lucia), Vrede, Witteberg, Greytown High, Eshowe and Maritzburg College.
