The eighth @lantic 7's tournament this year will take place on Saturday, 16 August at Volkskool Heidelberg.  This is the first time since the series started in 2007 that the tournament will be held in Heidelberg.  Last weekend Hoërskool Middelburg won the tournament in Middelburg by beating Ermelo 34 -12 in the final.  The match was marked by quality play from both sides and Dirk Dippenaar from Middelburg High School was selected as player of the tournament.

Dippenaar will be invited to attend a training camp from which a youth team will be selected to tour Dubai at the end of November.  Saturday's first match starts at 08:30 with the Cup final being played at 16:30.  The winning team from each tournament will be invited to participate in the Champion of Champions tournament that will take place in Pretoria on  01 November.

@LANTIC 7'S EERSTE KEER IN HEIDELBERG 

Die agste @lantic 7's toernooi die jaar vind Saterdag, 16 Augustus te Volkskool Heidelberg plaas.  Dit is die eerste keer sedert die reeks in 2007 begin het, dat die toernooi in Heidelberg gehou sal word.  Verlede naweek het Hoërskool Middelburg die toernooi in Middelburg gewen toe hul Ermelo 34 -12 in die finaal geklop het.  Die wedstryd is gekenmerk deur kwaliteit spel van beide spanne en Dirk Dippenaar van Middelburg Hoërskool is as die speler van die toernooi aangewys.

Dippenaar sal genooi word na 'n oefenkamp waaruit 'n jeugspan gekies sal word wat die einde van November na Doebai toer.  Saterdag se eerste wedstryd skop om 08:30 af met die Beker-finaal wat om 16:30 plaasvind.  Die wenspan van elke toernooi sal genooi word om aan die Kampioen van Kampioene toernooi deel te neem wat die 1ste November in Pretoria plaasvind.
