The tenth @lantic 7's tournament this year will take place on Saturday, 30 August in Durban.  Last weekend HS New Orleans won the tournament in Bredasdorp by beating HS Wesbank 34 - 5 in the final. Ryan Jordaan, who represented Boland as flyhalf at Craven week this year, from HS New Orleans was selected as player of the tournament.
The ninth @lantic 7's tournament this year will take place on Saturday, 23 August in Bredasdorp. This is the first time since the series started in 2007 that the tournament will be held in Bredasdorp. Last weekend HTS Vereeniging won the tournament in Heidelberg by beating HS Brandwag 37 - 26 in the final. Jacques Erasmus, who is also an SA athlete, from HS Brandwag was selected as player of the tournament.
Owen Hannie, well known SuperSport presenter has joined the @lantic 7's broadcast team as presenter of the @lantic 7's Journal program.
Owen takes the show to another level with his professionalism.
He forms a formidable team with sports promotor and rugby fundi, Willem Strauss.
With the popularity of 7's increasing at a huge tempo in South Africa it is fitting to have a professional team like this spreading the gospel of 7's.
@LANTIC 7's FIRST TIME IN HEIDELBERG
The eighth @lantic 7's tournament this year will take place on Saturday, 16 August at Volkskool Heidelberg. This is the first time since the series started in 2007 that the tournament will be held in Heidelberg. Last weekend Hoërskool Middelburg won the tournament in Middelburg by beating Ermelo 34 -12 in the final. The match was marked by quality play from both sides and Dirk Dippenaar from Middelburg High School was selected as player of the tournament.
